The legendary Anupam Kher, who is recognized for his memorable roles in Silver Linings Playbook, The Big Sick, Hotel Mumbai, Breakaway, Bend It Like Beckham, and literally hundreds of Bollywood features, wants to uplift the human spirit and infuse it with hope, humour, kindness and love. This is why he has launched his first podcast ‘Anupam Cares’, (a play on his name), and it airs each week day on iHeart Podcasts.
I spoke on Zoom video with Anupam on Christmas Day, from where he was shooting a movie in Mumbai, and he spoke with elegance, and most of all, with kindness, befitting his new podcast.
