It’s always a pleasure chatting with the down-to-Earth, intelligent, and easy to talk to Kristin Kreuk. Before every season premiere of Burden of Truth on CBC (see here, here, and here), we’ve sat down and spoken with the actress-executive producer about what to expect in the new season, and this year (season four of the hit series) was no different. Over Zoom video, I spoke with Kreuk about what’s in store for her headstrong character Joanna (in terms of her new case against a mining company, her relationship with Billy, and motherhood), what she’s been reading lately, and the virtual Smallville reunion she participated in that raised funds for the Ronald McDonald House in L.A.
