Interview: Domina’s Liam Cunningham

Domina captures the extraordinary rise of Livia Drusilla (Kasia Smutniak), who overcame adversity to become the powerful wife of the Roman emperor Augustus Caesar. Follow Livia’s journey from a naive young girl (played by Nadia Parkes) whose world crumbles in the wake of Julius Caesar’s assassination, to her rise to become Rome’s most powerful and influential Empress.

I had the exciting opportunity recently to converse with Liam Cunningham (who plays Livia’s loving father, Livius) about filming in Cinecittà, the surprising facts he learned regarding Roman history, and why he hasn’t minded being in lockdown.
