Our wonderful experience at the Modern Love Zoom video press day concluded with the interview for which we were perhaps most excited, this being the pairing of Lulu Wilson (The Glorias, Becky) and newcomer Grace Edwards, two young performers who are both phenomenal and also possess amazing chemistry in their episode of Modern Love, about LGBTQIA+ youth and inspired by a Buzzfeed quiz. This episode, directed by Logan George and Celine Held, feels extremely cinematic and even moreso, would not feel out of place at film festivals. Wilson and Edwards are also both incredibly well-spoken, especially at young ages and shared exclusively with Brief Take quite a lot about their characters and how Maria Dizzia helped contribute to an amazing feel in an episode which will be essential viewing for teens and their parents to watch together.
