Johnny Orlando is a popular Canadian singer-songwriter and TikTok star whose voice is featured in the Netflix / eOne Films’ My Little Pony: The Next Generation with the song ‘It’s Alright’, a catchy dance song and his first ever (!) for a soundtrack. In our fun Zoom sit-down with Orlando (we had previously spoken with his sister Lauren at a red carpet event), he discussed how he was specifically chosen to record this track from the president of his record label. While he doesn’t have much experience with My Little Pony, he picked up the mythology from this fun and exciting film (and his sister is a huge fan as well). We hope to see (and hear) more of Orlando very soon, a talent that is very much on the rise.
