Actor-producer Gabriel Chavarria shines as A.B. Quintanilla, record producer-songwriter-musician (and yes, older brother of Selena) in Selena: The Series. The original Netflix series chronicles Selena Quintanilla’s (Christian Serratos) journey from singing small gigs to becoming the most successful female Latin artist of all time — and the years of hard work and sacrifice the Quintanilla family navigated together. At the recent Netflix press junket for the binge-worthy show, I had the opportunity to chat over Zoom video with the charming Gabriel Chavarria (The Purge TV series, East Los High).
