While everyone knows Bob Balaban from his collaborations with Christopher Guest and Wes Anderson, or his stint as Russell Dalrymple, an NBC executive, on Seinfeld, Balaban’s colleague in The Chair, Nana Mensah, is accomplished in her own right, writing and directing the Tribeca Film Festival selection Queen of Glory, which was inspired by her own life. During our candid Zoom video interview with the Manhattan-based Balaban and the London-based Mensah, the pair revealed how much they loved working together on the acclaimed Netflix series and also shared book recommendations that we will need to check out as well.
