To say that Demián Bichir was one of the easiest and most down-to-Earth interviews I’ve had all year would be an understatement (and that’s the honest truth). The Academy Award-nominated actor spoke with me at length about his admiration for his The Midnight Sky director George Clooney, how director Chris Weitz refused to typecast him (which led to the aforementioned Oscar nom), and how he enjoyed reuniting with his Godzilla vs. Kong co-star Kyle Chandler (which filmed prior to this movie).
